Script Writer A scriptwriter, also known as a screen writer is a writer, who practices the craft of screen writing, writing screen plays for Films, TV Programmes and Video Games and these are all mass media based.
Scriptwriting tends to be a freelance profession that requires no education but just good story-telling abilities and a lot of imagination. Most screen writers if not all start their careers writing on speculation; this means that they write without being hired or without being paid for it and if and when one of these scripts are bought they are called spec scripts.
Professional screenwriters do not work for free often; an amateur will often work for free and are considered writers "in training". Spec scripts are usually penned by unknown professional screenwriters and amateur screenwriters. There are a legion of would-be screenwriters who attempt to enter the film industry but it often takes years of trial-and-error, failure, and gritty persistence to achieve success.
Script writing in the film industry:
When writing a script you always have to start with an original idea and then script writers use those ideas to go on and write their scripts, with the intention of selling them and having them produced. Most of the time a film project will firstly get initiated then it will exclusively become that person’s assignment, which are then referred to as ‘exclusive’ assignments or ‘pitched’ assignments. As screen writers work on a freelance basis they can at any point be approached and personally offered an assignment to write.
Script Doctoring:
Many scriptwriters are also either full or part time ‘script doctors’ these are people that attempt to better a script and try to suit the desires of a director.
Script Doctoring can be quite lucrative, especially for the better known writers.

Over the years Journalism has developed a variety of ethics and standards. Objectivity and not coming across as being bias are always considered very important; however there is a certain type of Journalism called advocacy Journalism, this is a genre of Journalism that is mainly used for social or political purposes and it is where Journalists are allowed to intentionally adapt a non-objective point of view. This is because it is intended to be seen as factual even though it sometimes won’t be and it is distinguished from the term propaganda. These types of Journalism are not always used to change people’s names on political issues but they are also used for when people, mainly celebrities write columns as they are expressing the views and opinions in them.
