Financial Jobs

This includes jobs such as a Film Accountant these are the people that are in charge of managing the budget and maintaining a financial record during the whole filming production process. They work closely with the producer and the production staff to ensure that they are able to create schedules and budgets for all the film productions they have. Film accountants will have to have a good knowledge of government regulations and they will usually work on a freelance basis. They are responsible for sorting out advertising campaigns where they will work as a link between clients and other agency staff.
Account Executives work closely with their clients this is usually done on a daily basis throughout campaigns. They manage admin work ensuring that the project is always complete and done in time and in budget. This role can involve handling multiple clients’ accounts or in larger companies they will do one or two accounts. Advertising Account Executives usually have an account manager that they will report to.
Payroll Clerk Job responsibilities include arranging the payment of staff salaries, you will have to process new colleagues and when people are leaving, and to provide advice for the staff members this will include advice about things such as their pay and being taxed. They also have to record any sicknesses they may have because time off will affect their pay and things like that.
There are two types of a Financial Controller who both perform two different roles depending on their circumstances of a films production. The first one will work for a  large production company, studio or broadcaster and they may employ an experienced financial controller, to ensure that proper financial controls and reporting procedures are in place. The second one works on larger productions, a freelance senior production accountant may be engaged as a financial controller to oversee the work of the Film Production Accountant and those of the Accounts Team.
